The terms for each of our transactions--whether large or small -- are tailored to the borrowing firm's situation; each loan or funding transaction is customized. 

Loan amounts are determined by total anticipated net future fees in the applicant's case collateral. There is no requirement to track expenses for each case or request funding for each expenditure.

Our Major Case Portfolio Law Firm Loans can provide qualified law firms with significant capital requirements with financing from ​$3 million to $100 million.

​Our Mid-Range Case Portfolio Lending Program can provide firms of all sizes with loans from $250,000 to $5 million.

Our Smaller Firm Case Portfolio loans ($100,000 to $600,000) require only minimal monthly payments of the interest due on the outstanding balance, calculated to the day.

Each of these case portfolio loans are based on the firm's projected net fees in its portfolio of pending cases. None of our programs use personal real estate or liquid assets as collateral. None of these programs requires the sale of the firm's entire fee in any given case or the portfolio at a discount.

All of these loans are also repaid as fees are received, with a portion of each fee used to pay down the loan with the firm retaining the rest.

Rates are determined during underwriting and terms are tailored to meet the individual requirements of the firm or attorney. Factors considered in underwriting and setting fees, rates and terms include:

• the firm's total projected fees and the quality, nature, and number of cases in the firm's portfolio
• the stability and historical financials of the firm and recent revenues
• the professional backgrounds of the firm's equity partners
• the prior case results and experience of the firm in handling the types of cases in its portfolio
• Amount of any prior loans or UCC liens that may encumber the firm's fees (NOTE: our programs can usually be used to pay off existing firm funding or financing obligations)

Our law firm financing loans and lines of credit offer competitively priced working capital that can be used for practice overhead, case costs, trial preparation, expert witnesses, firm marketing, practice development, and compensation. There are no restrictions on the use of the funds, other than that they be used for a business purpose. 

Initial loan amounts can be increased if required, or extended, provided the law firm's pending case collateral remains adequate to support the loan, or the firm's projected net fees in any new case collateral is sufficient to support the loan increase.

Our lending decisions are made much more quickly than is the case with banks or other lenders.  In most cases, case portfolio financing can be underwritten and approved in 7  to 21 days after we receive the information required for financial and case underwriting.

Our Attorney Fee Advance programs are unique in the legal finance industry. They provide rapid approval funding for attorneys and law firms based upon pending attorneys fees in settled cases awaiting payment, and judgments awarding money damages that are presently on appeal. 

Fee advance loans are available in amounts determined as a percentage of the firm's net fee in one or more settled cases. Repayment typically occurs when the fee in the settled matter used as the basis of the advance or loan is actually received.

Whether the request is for an advance of a million dollars or more, or as little as $100,000, our programs have the capital on hand and are ready to make fast decisions and prompt disbursements. Rates and fees are fair and highly competitive, and all repayment terms are clearly stated in each agreement.

Our fast turnaround  and streamlined application and approval process are based on a recognition that that time is of the essence when it comes to law firm capital. These exclusive funding programs require far less paperwork and offer lower rates than any other comparable service. Advances are available in amounts from $50,000 to over seven figures.

Appellate Case Fee Advance Funding is also available -- for advances to attorneys based on projected net fees in money judgments on appeal. Advances are also available for successful litigants with awards of money damages on appeal. Rates and fees for such advances are determined on a case-by-case basis. Appeal bonds usually must be in place. There is a minimum funding amount of $100,000 for appellate funding and the projected verdict or judgment currently on appeal must be at least $1 MM.
